I know these threads are kind of unfair, becuase I miss a lot of people and I don't make threads for them, and because it's kind of like the eulogies - better said while they are around. So, I'm sorry for all the above. I just need an indulgence.

Do not be jealous, Kat. I emailed her when I noticed she had not been around, and she took forever to email back. She was in an Internet cafe. I cannot imagine trying to stay on Hatrack without three times a day access.

It's true. I miss Ralphie flirting with me all the time. I kept saying no, it couldn't happen, but still, I enjoyed the attention and the funny. How can you blame for missing it?

Yeah, Ralphie really classed up the joint, didn't she? I miss her too.
Last I remember, she was "gettin' some chicken" --a Ralphie thread metaphor for living life on your own terms. I thought that was why she was AWOL. I'm sorry to hear she's lacking internet access, unless it was her own choice.

yeah BC said he was currently in Kuwait on a different thread. *shrug* why you would wish anyone to come to a hotbed of discontent just so that you can see them if they are really your friend is beyond me.

Acutally, Kuwait's a happenin' place. My cousin who served there spent an inordinate amount of time wind surfing and hanging out at the beach.
