I have to write several thank you letters today.
Should I, if I just have one email address email all 3 of the letters to the same place, or write one big thank you letter to everyone at the office all in one letter. Should I mail it in several different envelopes to each person that helped in the office?
Plus, they got me a 4 month job! Starting next Thursday! How excellent.

Separate thank you letters. Mail better than e-mail. Completely uninformed opinion.

Congratulations on getting the 4-month position. [Smile] Is there also a more permanent position as a possibility?

Yes. separate letters. And if you had individual contact with the people, try to personalize the letters.

"Thank you for taking the time to..."

"Thank you for your informative tour of the building."

"I really enjoyed our conversation regarding ____________. I hope to have the chance to work towards this goal with you in the future."

"I really enjoyed the opportunity to observe your class. I found the class discussion on trees to be quite informative and entertaining." [Smile]

Etc.

ok. if I email them, should I send them all to one email address, 4 letters to one email address?
4 seperate envelops if I snail mail them tomorrow morning?

I got to get stamps if I snail mail them... Email would be faster. Perhaps I should do both. I only got one email.
I wonder if they all have email addresses... *worries*

Okay. Separate envelopes to each person. snail mail. Get stamps. [Smile]

You can do a quicker thank you by email as well, if you would like. The snail mail ones should be more formal.

If you can, send the emails separately to separate addresses. If you don't have the email addresses, either forget it or send one general letter addressed to all of them.

How is this?

To the Staff of Broadview staffing;

Thank you for your generous help and excellent assistance during my interview on Thursday, June 23, 2005. I appreciate the time and effort spent to make my experience a pleasant one, especially the time spent checking over my application, the good advice and the extra help such as helping me to find the number to JPG Marketing.

I am especially grateful for the job opportunity for next Thursday. Once again, thanks for all of your assistance and I look forward to meeting next week to discuss the Blue Cross position for Thursday.

I forgot to mention that at my second interview the guy there liked Orson Scott Card.
