And I'm stuck with a 5 year old video card for at least a week. I feel so powerless. I can only imagine how my computer feels now...

I was trying to get my old 486 working to get some games/stuff off it and the CMOS battery is dead! I had to do some major research to find out what was wrong, too!

*sigh*

Doesn't look good, but hopefully we'll be able to do something!

I was afraid to click on this thread because considering the subject of your last post, I was a little afraid the thread topic was a metaphor for something else. [Big Grin]

Well, I was seeing purple and green spots until I changed the video card out. Basically, it's been a bad weekend.

Ouch. What kind of card was it, and what will you get to replace it?

I was once able to delete my BIOS. The techs were astonished. Damn ASUStek, I followed there booklet's instructions!
