Last night I had a dream of lying in bed with my baby, skin to skin, saying over and over to my husband and midwife, "He can't be dead, he's so warm". Then having to get out of bed to watch Olivia dance and being afraid that while I'm gone no one will hold him.
It's been haunting me all day and now I don't want to go to bed.

Dreams sometimes just highlight our anxieties. This one highlights one of yours, which shows us that you love your baby and don't want anything bad to happen. It isn't a pleasant thing, but take this gift: it reminds you that you love your baby, all the way down to your subconscious.

Sorry romany! This dream reminds me of one of the other threads when we talked about loss and the difficulty going on with life--feeling that you are betraying the memory of the one that died.
If I go to watch her dance (go on living) who will hold him (remember, hold to his memory, greiving)?
