What would you choose? To me it's like picking my favorite band, or song, but if i really had to choose it would be flying. I guess this could be considered a pychological question but its not ment for that now.

Breathing underwater comes in handy when someone is trying to drown you. Or if you want to spy or escape. You can play with dolphins and fishing never was easier! You can find lost treasures on the seabed. I go for breathing underwater. Then I would never be fearful of flooding or tidal waves again!

With flying and breathing underwater, do you also get rules about pressure and breathing lifted?
In other words, how high can you fly, do you need any oxygen tank, and how fast can you fly?
For water, how deep can you swim, and how fast can you swim?
I'm leaning towards flying, because I could use it as a means to travel places quickly (work, or Spain).
But if they are both constrained, I think breathing underwater would be more fun. Especially on vacation.

Flying, without a doubt. Just imagine being able to soar through the air like Superman. What wonderful freedom! It'd be so much fun. Breathing under water... What's the big deal? Just get some scuba gear. That's close enough. Even if I could only fly 20 feet high at jogging pace, I'd still rather fly.

While I'd like to say flying, I've almost drowned twice... so, for safety's sake, I'll go with underwater breathing.

Flying, for sure. Imagine what sights you would see from up there! Btw, for those of you who'd choose flying, one piece of advice: DON'T WEAR A CAPE!

That two thirds is salt water, and pretty cold. You'd need more than just gills to deal with it, unless you were just going paddling at the beach - and then the 2/3 argument kind of disappears.
Flying for me; no more slogging up that damned hill to work.

Since when did the human imagination have rules? How can you set limits on the freedom of being human? Are we not allowed to think, to believe that we can do a lot with a little imagination? Science cannot bind us!
Edit: I would rather fly.

I'd rather fly, simply because I can't think of enough practical applications of underwater breathing. If I liked to swim, that would probably help. Or if I spent a lot of time on boats. But even so, it would mainly just be an occasional pleasure thing.
Flying I could use every day. I could get to and from work without sitting in traffic. I could escape people who were pissing me off without their being able to catch up with me (assuming I'm the only one with the ability). I could head up to the tops of the cliffs out of town in the middle of a clear winter night to watch the stars. I could go to the upper floor windows of homes to peek at girls undr--I mean, to wash windows as an act of charity. (That was a good save. Good thing I'm so clever. )
