I know, it seems like a strange thing for New Scientist to be doing, doesn't it? Nonetheless, they are. Ender's Game is one of the choices on the poll, just FYI. Here's the poll.
They've also got a forum going. It's less robust than Hatrack at this point, but I'm curious to see where it goes once it broadens a bit in scope. Well, if it broadens a bit in scope. In any case, here it is.

I chose Ender's Game, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Dune (all books). These are among some of my favorites.

Ender's Game Star Trek: TNG Star Wars Ep IV
That was incredibly hard. I started with Ender's Game, and almost bumped it for Firefly, but decided to stick with it. Star Wars and Star Trek are automatics for me, they got me into sci-fi to begin with, and will always be my favorites. The hardest part was picking which of the three Star Wars movies to represent the series. If I had more choices I would have added Firefly, Hitchhiker and Stargate.

I picked Firefly, Dune (book), and Ender's Game. I had a difficult time choosing between Ender's Game and Babylon 5 for my third, but ultimately picked Ender's Game because it's really much better written.

I chose Ender's Game, Star Trek: TNG, and Hyperion. I really wanted to vote for Serenity, Dune, and The Foundation though.

I voted for Ender's Game, Dune (book), 2001 (book). Close to being picked were: Contact (book; I love the movie but it wasn't there), Star Trek TNG and the Foundation Series. Would have voted for Speaker for the Dead or some of Ph. K. Dick's books, but they weren't there.
