Hello everyone. Matt (my bro) and I decided to take a trip this week. All the funeral stuff for Mom is out of the way and we have to wait a bit for the legal and money stuff to get into motion. A little road therapy. We're in Chicago visiting the family...and I was thinking that maybe we (or perhaps just me) can hang out with some Hatrack people if we get some free time.
AJ? Where do you live? Maybe we can meet up at your house. We are at my Grandma's house in Evanston at the moment.

Well... just emailed AJ with my cell #. Someone wake her up! Hehehe... I'm sure I'll talk to her sometime tomorrow... erm.. today. We'll have alot of family business to do the next few days and everyone will want us over for dinner, but I'm sure I can break away for an evening. At least for a couple hours. I'll bring my brother along too. He's a riot.
Anyway... I'm gonna smoke a ciggy, have a chocolate cookie with milk and hit the hay. Night Hatrack. *licks rivka just for the fun of it*

I could possibly meet you downtown after work sometime.
When are you going back home? I'm actually going to Detroit this upcoming weekend for the Final Fantasy concert and was going to ask you if you wanted to hang out sometime. I'm arriving Saturday around 2:30 and leaving late Monday afternoon. The concert's on Sunday night.

Much as I'd love to hang out, I have to coordinate both my schedule and Diane's - her schedule being the more demanding one. The weekend is pretty tied up with a major disability event here in downtown Chicago.
But if y'all wanted to make it to Forest Park for a lunch on Wednesday or Thursday (got a lunch meeting on Friday), I would enjoy making it an extended one.
Sorry I can't do better. My schedule has been hellish this summer.
Life otherwise is pretty good. Just don't like being so booked.
I'd look forward to the time, but won't feel insulted if you decide this is too much hassle for too little hanging out.

We'll be leaving no sooner then Wed and no later then Fri. Tonight we are having dinner with some of the family and to talk business. Tomorrow we are going on some kind of boat tour trip up and down the coast. That night should be free if we're not dead tired. I'm thinking maybe a local Evanston bar is a good place to meet up. Have some drinks and maybe a little food. Or at AJ's house if she's up for it.
We just got back from the Botanical Gardens. Very cool. Haven't been there in years and years. Left my cell phone charging back in our car (grandma drove us in hers)... maybe AJ has left me a voicemail.

Up and down the coast? I'm up the coast. Is it heading as far North as Milwaukee (I doubt it, but it's worth a try). I don't know if I'll have time to visit. I work kinda late and I have to consider the wife and daughter. We could probably make an evening of it sometime this week.
