You know, we have a whole 5-page thread on Stargate already.

We feel your pain Blayne.

Bring it over to the Stargate News thread, there's a support group there who can help you with your grief.

What happened?

I've come to really enjoy Stargate but I've missed alot of episodes. Common Asgard! Wipe the floor with the Ori!

Oh.

For a second I thought Blayne was talking about OUR Thor, and I was like, "Since when are THEY in private correspondence? And what's wrong?"

You don't really want us to spoil it for you do you? What was the most recent episode you watched?

Me three.

If you spoil any of Stargate for me, particularly the SG-1 finale, I will figure out how to shoot laser beams over the internet and fry you. You have been warned.

(I'm avoiding the Stargate news thread until I see the episodes, so I'm not worried about what you post there.)

Yeah, much of the SG News Thread has spoiler warnings, but it's so laden with spoilers, you might as well avoid it all together.

And technically, Blayne really, really should change the thread title. It's not an outright spoiler, but if you have any idea as to what happens in the episode, it could be considered one.

Speaking of Stargate news, is anyone excited about A Dog's Breakfast? It looks hilarious.

It looks totally hysterical, but I have no idea when it's supposed to be out to watch in America.

I think it's something we'll have to try and rent or buy on DVD, if it even makes it there, as it's an indy film from David Hewlett.

Some of the cast reads like the cast of SGA episode "Mrs. Miller and Dr. McKay" (might be the other way around). I think Hewlett's sister is delightful, and the chemistry between the two of them is golden. I also like Paul McGillion. I think it's going to be a great movie.

The episode is "McKay and Mrs. Miller" (frequently abbreviated as M&MM, if that helps). And yeah, Kate Hewlett is awesome. [Big Grin]

Hey, bet that's a reference to McCabe & Mrs. Miller, 1971, with a soundtrack courtesy of Leonard Cohen.

And the moral of the story is: Don't clone yourselves. Having a multifarious genetic mixture is a good thing.

EDIT: My friends went to Kate Hewlett's play in Toronto last summer and then went to talk to her, and them being SG:A fans, the topic came up. Ms Hewlett said they were her first SG:A fans (the episodes hadn't aired yet).

Cool eh? [Smile]

Of course! I knew it rang a bell.

(Never saw the movie, but I had heard of it.)
