My wife and I have been thinking about doing Herbalife. The glossy success stories sound good, but there's usually thousands of less (or un-) successful stories for every one of those. I've done some internet reading and am wondering if any hatrackers have had any experience, positive or negative with any aspects of Herbalife? (If we do join I promise not to hassle anybody here with sales pitches!)

I never sold it, but I used the program and went from a size 14 to a size 10 (in conjunction with exercise, of course.) The shake tastes like crap, but I found it tolerable if I mixed it with nonfat milk, added a tsp. of Carnation malted milk mix, and topped with a Tbsp. of whipped cream (which ups the calories, but I was exercising enough that it worked anyway.)

One thing you have to consider is that many distributors are selling their stuff online. They may be tough to compete against unless you are willing to move your business online as well.

My brother was on the stuff for quite some time. Pardon my language, but IMO it's crap. (And I don't just mean the taste, which is NASTY.)

Dude. It's a MLM. Would you sell vacuum cleaners? Amway? Then why would you subject the world to more nutritional shake salespeople?
