kojabu, it's the same idea of, why does a recorded DVD play out recognizable pictures/sound?
You start with the pictures/sound, then "translate" that into DVD format. Then you are able to "retranslate" it back into pictures/sound.
If you start with putting a picture on a sound-visualization program, then see what sound it happens to make, then put that sound into your song, when you visualize that song with the same program and parameters you used to make it, the picture will come up amidst the other visualized waves of the music.
I wonder, though, how much interference would effect such a picture?
