I just posted to a thread on page two. It's still there. The last post time is correct--about five minuted ago. And its folder is the lone yellow one on the page. And yet it stays there on page two instead of getting bumped up to page one.

The hug thread? Yeah, that's weird. Must be a glitch.

That's happened to me sometimes, where a thread doesn't get bumped when I post, but only ever with ones on the front page, usually near the top.

It's because the forum doesn't like you, Joe. [Smile]

I was starting to think that maybe the thread could not be bumped on the Sabbath, but there it goes.

When that happens to me, I use the back key because I goofed up and clicked on the "go" button instead of the "add reply" button. It's happened a couple of times since the forum was updated. I'm not sure why I do it. [Dont Know]

I do it too. Takes me a minute to figure out that i didn't actually reply - i just wrote my reply and clicked on Go. Usually my message is still there, waiting patiently for me to send it on its way.

I did that once and it saved me from posting something really embarrassing. The "Go" button is my friend.

[Wink]

But I have seen this glitch before. It eventually corrects itself. I suspect that the "refresh graemlin" was probably on a potty break and when he got back, all was made right. [Dont Know]

[Big Grin]

In this case, though, I actually did hit submit, and the message was there and everything. And the yellow folder indicated that there was new stuff in the thread (although technically I suppose it should not have). The thread simply did not move up. I probably should have waited to see how long it would take to bump of its own accord, out of curiosity, but I decided to add another post to the thread instead.
