She's off in Australia, and I miss her! So I thought I'd start a thread that we'll keep alive until (or I'll bump when) she gets back, so she'll know we miss her.
Anna, I hope you had a fabulous time! Please do share all the details!
Everyone else, feel free to post well-wishes.

Australia is entirely peopled with criminals. And criminals are used to having people not trust them as you are not trusted by me, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you.

In the "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountains When She Comes" tune.
Oh, I'd rather be a convict than a Pom, Oh, I'd rather be a convict than a Pom; Oh, I'd rather be a convict, Oh, I'd rather be a convict, Oh, I'd rather be a convict than a Pom!
They sung that when AUS and ENG played cricket, and one guy at the stands pointed at an Aussie next to him (who was reading a newspaper) and said: "Look! An Aussie who can read!" The Aussie across the stands shouted back: "I guess we're square, then, 'cause I see no Poms heere who can play Cricket!"
No one took ME there?! I AM an Aussie!!!

And I mean this in the most lustful way possible when I tell you I love you.

I hope she's having a fabulous time, and I'll just miss her when I leave, so here's a year and a half worth of smiles and hugs from me.

Thank you thank you thank you! I'm back, but I have so much things to do that I had decided to spend a little time offline - at least as long as I haven't finished to type the paper diary of my OZ trip! Oh well, that's only a few minutes... I can tell you that it was really, really great, I fell in love with Australia. If only I could place it next to Ireland so it's not that far from home I think I would try to live there. I'll update as soon as I'm finished with the typing and have put it on my LJ, and I'll leave it accessible for a few weeks so everyone can read it! Again thanks a lot. It's so good to feel loved. BTW, Annie, don't think you'll get rid of me like that : I'll write you, I promise!

It should be up this week-end or at the beginning of next week on livejournal.com, username annafrenc. My journal is usually friends-only because I'm a little paranoid about what would happen if anyone at work read it, but as I said I will leave the OZ diary accessible for a few weeks (or you could register and I would add you to my friends list!). And now, I'm really off!

And it's not cheating because I just finished to type my diary. Now all I need is to write something to wrap it up.

OK, it's online! You'll find it on LJ under the username annafrenc. As promised it will be open for everybody for at least one week. For those who are on my flist, if you want to see only the OZ trip I tagged all the entries "OZ diary" so it's easily found.
