I'm looking for a message board system - free or paid, hosted or not - that will allow me to develop a website with a format similar to Craig's List (www.craigslist.org).
I want something where I can create authorized user accounts and have people able to post directly into a specific category, and have those categories automatically update with the newest posts. I do not need - or want - viewers to be able to comment or reply to any of the posts. Viewers do not need to be able to create an account. It also needs to notify a primary administrative account any time someone makes a change to the page.
A blog system would work, if it allows this same level of customization.
