Jon Stewart is back from vacation. Just in case you missed the news last night, you can still catch the repeat at 8, 7 central.

Thank goodness. Last week was torture.

Does anyone have any idea when Stephen Colbert's show is supposed to start?

I think we should all start the finger pointing right now and blame Stewart for the shoddy press coverage of the Katrina disaster.

It's his fault.

He was on vacation instead of on the job.

The guy has no sense of responsibility at all.

Thank you thank you thank you for reminding me to catch the eight p.m. repeat. I didn't stay up last night because I was sure it would be a rerun.

I lub Jon Stewart.

That is all.

That alphabetical list was hysterical. I almost peed my pants. I mean, I liked it better than Pirates of Penzance.

If you missed it go here and click on Beleaguered Bush. It's 5:04 long, and the list is at the end, but really funny. The whole 5 minutes is funny.

[tangent] Do you also like the *movie* Pirates of Penzance (with Linda Ronstadt and *bestillmyheart* Kevin Kline)? Because then I know that I lub YOU. [Wink] [/tangent]

He beat you to it sndrake... Mentioned that he could totally understand where Bush was coming from, seeing as he was finding it hard to come back from his vacation as well.

all in all a quality episode. Anyone who hasn't seen it, click that link. Even if it's only to see that list that Kayla's talking about. Hysterical.

He was a lot more straightforward and serious about the Bush-blaming at the beginning of the episode than I've been used to in the past. It was weird. I guess he was frustrated at his lack of a podium for the past week, and had to vent ... [Smile]

Just finish watching Pretty Woman?

My favorite part of the list was V for Voldemort.

Here:

Abu Graib
Bin Laden
Chalabi
Deficit
Enron
Failure to find WMDs
Halliburton
Iraq
John Bolton
Katrina
Locusts
Mars Attacks
North Korea
Osama & Jenna
Pregnancy: Osama & Jenna
Queer Revolt
Rodents of Unusual Size
Syrian War
Tigers
Unicyclists, Nuclear
Voldemort
WWIII
X-Rated Tape: Osama & Jenna
Yam Shortage
Zero People Left on Earth

Enjoy.

Nah, I haven't seen that in. . . like. . . probably a year. Though now that you mention it. . .

::goes to video cabinet and gets out Pretty Woman::

I do quote movies for no apparent reason quite often though. Most people never notice, though that one was pretty obvious.
