We are currently voting on a measure to boot anyone who has gone inactive (has not played for 2 weeks or more) adn is under 300 points.
Under this provision we will NOT boot anyone who wants to stay in the alliance, regardless of points or status, but in order to stay you have to post a request to do so.
The main reason we are considering doing this is that these players have built up huge stockplies of resources with very litle defences, and other players from other alliances are raiding them, and then taking those resources adn buying ships to atack the rest of us with. We can't attack our own alliance members without violating the pushing rules, so we want to boot them and raid them ourselves to prevent others from gaining their resources.
If you play in Uni6, please go to the forum and vote on this measure.

Best of all, if you've decided to stop playing, please unbuild your mines and other resource-producing facilities.

There is a nifty new Technology called Terraforming that will allow you to increase the spaces on your planet. There is also a galactic research network that is fairly recent.
You can also deconstruct some buildings if they're no longer needed to reclaim some space as well.
I'm still in the alliance, but it's been message free for a long while now.

Hey! Ok... I'm building my world in Universe 2... Tirion Prime.

get out of Uni2....there are people who can kill everything you could possibly do in that Uni, it is not a good choice for a starter Uni...

I actually quit that Uni..I only play Uni6, it was taking too much time IRL.
The smaller the number the older the Uni, and Uni 2 has some of the largest fleets and strongest players out there.
Yes, you have to start all over. You might want to wait a week or two, until a new Uni starts up, so you can start even with everyone else. There is nOOb protection, though, so it isn't ALL bad news. Posts: 15082 | Registered: Jul 2001

I'm not sure what made me decide to pick it back up, but I've been having fun with it.
I finally got to the point where I can start raiding again. With the extra income from raiding, I have now broken into the top 1000 in universe 6, a goal I've been working on for a while now.
Now my goal is to smash a certain planet in my star system. I can't believe the nerve of this guy -- making a colony so close to me and then defending it so well. That cannot be tolerated.
