So, I'm using freewebs.com to help a professor with a project, and for some reason, I can't access freewebs at all. She had the same problem yesterday, but from home last night, I had no trouble getting into it.
Could someone else check the main page and see if it's a freewebs problem, or if it's something that's weird and localized?

Yeah, I've had problems with various sites over the past couple of days.
Might not hurt to change the subject of this thread to something like Net Blackouts and keep it around.

I haven't been able to get to some of the webcomics that update on wednesdays. I hate business things like this destroying the illusion of the internet as this great nebulous thing that just exists on its own.
*sigh*

Edit: I just noticed that this is my 1337 post. How fitting!

Ok, since this may or not be resolved quickly, can someone recommend another free web-hosting service that doesn't have a whole bunch of ads attached to it?

I think freewebs is pretty good. IIRC, you only need one text ad per page, and it's a one-line add for freewebs. They may have changed it, though.

I LIKE freewebs, but unfortunately, it's inaccessible from a whole lot of places right now. Which is why I'm searching for a substitute.
