This thing's CRAZY overheating, and I'm not sure why. I can't tell if the PSU fan's working, but from the feel of it -- it's not. Right now I have the cover off and a giant floor fan pointed inside, but with dust, that's going to do more harm than good in the long run.
Help! How do I cool this creature down? How can I check if the PSU fan's working -- and if it's not, how do I fix it? I have the main chassis 80mm fan (maybe 120?) working, but if this giant fan's not enough to keep it cool, I doubt that will be.

When my husband's computer was overheating a lot, he bought some more fans. I think he has 3 or 4.
But he has been keeping the side cover off lately, because I think one or two of the fans broke. I think he found that it works better with the side cover off.
Anyway, buy more fans?
How hot is it in the room?

I have heard a lot of good things about the liquid cooling systems. If you had one on the PCU, a fan on the video card, a fan on the side of the case, and something to cool off your hardrive, I don't think your computer would heat anytime soon.

There are also programs you can download that'll tell you your processor's temperature. That should give you an idea how hot things really are.

If the psu fan is not working look inside if it is not spinning and you don't feel any airflow then it is not working.
