Personally, I always preferred Grover...

Elmo's my favorite!

The link didn't load, but I wanted to say that anyway. [Big Grin]

Is it any surprise to anyone that when I was little, my favorite was Oscar the Grouch? And that KPC's favorite was Cookie Monster?

Yeah, they way overproduce it now, although there are still some really funny in-jokes for the parents.

Personally, when we watch Sesame Street, we usualy watch until Elmo's World comes on, then stop. Number one, 40 minutes is about right for my 18-month-old, and number two, Elmo's World, while possibly right at her level, annoys the heck out of me. The other parts aren't so bad.

I have become reconciled to Leona's voice and now will watch Between the Lions, though. I think it's really the best ongoing educational show (Mr. Rogers is still my very favorite, but of course those are all taped reruns since he's dead.)

I used to love the Beetles, singing "Letter B".

Elmo has grown on me. My toddler loves Elmo (just a little less than Veggie Tales and The Lion King) and I am just thankful she is not into Barney. She was singing the Barney song the other day (learned in daycare) and I thought my hubby's head would explode.

[Big Grin] I always enjoyed "U" Really Got a Hold on Me, where he was being pursued by a giant letter "U"...

I have a Super Grover t-shirt. My mom gave it to me for Christmas. [Big Grin]

I read my oldest daughter "There's a Monster At the End of This Book" all the time. Grover rocks.

I love "There's a Monster At the End of This Book" too! The sequel to it has Elmo and Grover. I am also a big fan of the Count.

Which character do you dislike? Bert is so boring.

This site you linked to is neat. My daughter begs to play on the computer all the time and loves the Keyboard-o-rama game. It is helping her learn her letters. [Big Grin]

The second link is good too, but for some reason it doesn't like to open through the Hatrack hyperlink...

I like Bert too. I always felt bad for him, though, because he didn't seem to have much fun.

Bert's infatuation with pigeons freaked me out a bit.

I'm a fan of BtL myself, but I still miss Leona's voice from the first couple of seasons. I'm assuming they changed actresses/puppeteers, but I've never seen anything explaining that.
