...especially those with digital versions of their work, especially students!
Several of my friends and I are currently browsing tons of artwork in the hopes of finding some interesting stuff to decorate our apartments/houses/guitars/desks/etc. with. We prefer pieces that aren't explicitly themed, meaning nothing gratuitously sexual, violent, religious, etc. (I am not trying to equate the three! Please don't flame me!). We're looking at all flat mediums, from graphic design to photography to inked drawings to acrylics to whatever.
Some details:
1) Yes, we are paying. We aren't paying anything gratuitous: we're looking for reproductions, not originals or masterworks, or anything along those lines. We're trying to find a LOT of stuff, so our budgets are going to get stretched. We're aiming to get stuff from people who are more interested in having their stuff on display, rather than people trying to earn a metric ton of money. Most of the people who are participating thusfar are students, or only recently finished being students.
2) What we want is either a print of the work, or a digital file and the right to produce a single print for personal, home, non-commercial use. We're willing to pay more for an actual print.
3) We're VERY interested in pieces that we can dialogue with you about: what ideas they inspire in us, what you intended to accomplish with them, etc.
4) We're looking for a whole lot of stuff and asking a whole lot of people, so PLEASE don't be offended if we don't end up using your stuff. We're aiming to establish themes (within a wall, within a room, etc.), but won't be able to effectively do so until we have a broad pool of artwork to choose from.
If this sounds at all interesting to you, please e-mail me (erosomniac at gmail dot com) or reply to this thread. I would love to hear from you.

Here's annie's Cafepress store which has been linked on hatrack multiple times, and from what I understand doesn't require her being in the country to purchase the stuff. Blue RoosterPosts: 5362 | Registered: Apr 2004

Free images. I'm sure I could print them out and mail them to you. Here are some high res poster versions. It is possible to render larger images as well. Some of my favorites:

Jon Boy did this one. It's hanging in our living room, and I quite like it. The Galactic CactusPosts: 1903 | Registered: Sep 2003
