OK, Beavis and Butthead quotes aside, my left elbow is killing me, which is startling to say the least. You see, I lost all feeling in my left elbow as a result of surgery on a compound fracture, 18 years ago. In the surgery, some nerves were severed or something. So, anyways, i have had no feeling in that elbow all of this time. and now it's aching to no end. It began after working out on the climbing wall last night.

a Beavis and Butthead episode had them trying to scam money by pretending to get run over. Beavis was clutching various areas on his body, nowhere near his liver, and shouting "Ow! My Liver, My Liver!" and i always thought it was funny. since this was medical, i threw it in there.

Elbow pain? Might not have anything to do wit, I dunno, climbing that big wall at Dick's?
Both my arms are doiing that sore, wibble-ish thing that tells me they won't really hurt until tomorrow. It's like they're going , "Wait for it... wait for it..."
I DREAD waking up tomorrow. Though I , you know, still want to wake up and all.

Yes, but i should have absolutely ZERO feeling there. That's the disturbing part. Besides, i LIKED climbing that big wall.

*smacks Ben on the head* Then you SHOULD see a doctor. Or at least take it easy on the thing.
The boys were still talking about the wall this morning. They were so proud of me. I told them the big guy holding the rope helped me, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is this pain burning or tingling, by any chance?
Also I wonder if you did something really bad to the arm, if you mightn't feel something you don't normally feel.

well, like i said, surgery from my childhood killed all feeling in my elbow. i can smack it against a wall, table, dunk it in water, place it directly beside a heat source, and not feel a thing.
now all of the sudden it's very very tender.
