He's already made me think way too much. [Smile]

I've decided if I'm ever gonna get any work done around here, I've gotta postpone answering! [Smile]

So yeah, welcome. [Smile]

I think she was wondering about the origin of your username. There's an Enochville in NC.

The origin of my screen name:

Genesis speaks of two Enochs, one was the son of Cain (Genesis 4:17), the other was the son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). Now, Genesis 5:24, has something very interesting to say about Enoch the son of Jared, "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

The New Testament writers understood this to mean that he was translated, or changed into an immortal state without ever tasting death. Hebrews 11:5, "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

Joseph Smith, the founding prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, went on to say that Enoch had founded a city and named it Zion, and that the whole city was translated but should return to the earth in some future day. Now, there are other cities called Zion as well including Jerusalem in Israel, and a New Jerusalem to be built on the American Continent before the Savior returns. My heart is filled with great anticipation for this Zion to be built. And because it means so much to me, I have identified with it. Enochville, or the city of Enoch, is just a creative way to refer to Zion.

FWIW, that understanding predates Christianity by quite a bit.

Am currently pretty close to it, but we moved out of the school district for our son, who they were totally screwing up. Found a much better school (better for him) so, it all worked out. I still end up in Lawrence once or twice a week, though.

FWIW, I hardly think Enochville was claiming the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews was the first person who made such a declaration.

Yes, Lawrence, and specifically the University of Kansas, and even Kansas City was prominently featured in The Day After.

Out of the 80 or so speaking parts, only 15 were cast in Los Angeles. The remaining roles were filled in Kansas City and Lawrence.

Quite a number of people I was friends with in High School had been in The Day After. One of them had a speaking part, but the rest were just extras. I had the opportunity to be an extra in it, but didn't want to get spots on my head shaved, so I didn't. Missed opportunity--I'd be willing to do that now almost without having to stop and think about it.
