No. We just had someone post today who's below the age of two. A few of our regulars started coming here when they were 11.

You might want to delete the extra thread. Also, if you take a look at other posts, while we don't insist on perfect spelling, punctuation, and grammar, we do tend to prefer posts that are comprehensible.

Really, people WILL take you/Heni/Rustaburger/etc more seriously if you put more effort into your posts. Being 16, being lazy, those are NOT good excuses. We have a lot of teenagers here, we've even had regular posters as young as 12, and many of them have been capable of postings that don't make the rest of us cringe.
Ok, the two year old postings didn't make me cringe today, I admit.

Yeah, 2 year olds still have the cuteness factor that lets them get away with all sorts of things . . .

I'm 16. I use decent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I wish that I could reasonably expect other 16-year-olds to do likewise. Those who don't do so make the rest of us look bad.

The fact is, when someone acts mature, we assume they are older. When they don't, we assume they are younger. I'm constantly surprised by people's ages here.

Heh, that seems to be the common reaction on the 'rack when I mention how old I am. I don't see why people don't know I'm a kid, though. I've posted my age, or things implying my age, on several occasions. *shrugs*

It's 'cause you call yourself Mister Funny. If you were Kid Funny, we'd think you were younger.

There may not have been easy Internet access 20 years ago, but there certainly was online forum access.
That's about when Prodigy started up.
And even without ieSpell or the Google-bar spellcheck, I think my spelling was fairly good back then.

I'm going to try to convince my kid to name his kid "Invention", so I can go around saying that I'm the grandmother of invention.

I have conveniently defined "old" as anyone older then my sister (who is three years older than I am). Therefore, I will be forever young!

While there's no age limit at Hatrack, there's definitely some people that will occassionally complain if you act too obviously young, use weird grammer, ask naive questions, etc. Although these people are being silly, try to humor them anyway.
