And it's not even thanksgiving yet!

I guess this means we'll have a bearable winter here in Ohio. Tradition has it, we don't get snow until after Christmas, but then it hits HARD. I mean, a week's worth of snow days and delays almost every week. But hey, maybe it'll blow itself out and the groundhog won't see his shadow. We can hope.

But hey, I can make snow angels early this year!

It's been partly to mostly cloudy here today, with temperatures in the high sixties, but the past week and a half to two weeks has been much warmer than normal, in the mid-seventies when average is low sixties. But, we've also had fog already, and the forecast is for rain by Monday. Figures. It's only three weekends 'till "Nutcracker" performances, and the weather always does something stupid for performance weekend.

Snowing nice and good in Detroit still. It's been snowing since before 10am, and doesn't show signs of stopping.

Also, for those who in the Michigan area who think this will be a lighter year for snow, guess again. It's supposed to be a warmer winter, and warmer winters mean twice as much snow. The warmth means less of an ice cap over Lake Michigan, which allows more moisture to seep into the air, which means heavier snowfalls more often. Thus, northern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and all of Michigan beware. Not to mention the states to the east of us.

It snowed a couple of weeks ago in Chicago.

And now I'm in Indiana, and there's snow on the ground.

As I said earlier today, "Snow makes everything beautiful. You could dump fresh snow on a landfill, and I'd be convinced it was a winter wonderland."
