My wife is Japanese. I know other people have married someone from another Country and are trying to learn the language.

I found a site that has online tv stations from multiple countries , including Korea, Albania, et cetera.

I have been watching some cool music video and news. I hope someone else enjoys this site as much as me. It is great language practice and just overall really cool.

Cool. [Smile] Unfortunately, I can already get Sinhalese programming here. And Tamil. Sigh. I just have to get off my butt and actually trying to learn the language.

Wow, that was wicked. I just showed my mother-in-law some Albanian news and it almost made her cry. I can't tell if it's the fact that they were speaking her language or that they were describing the conditions over there (no electricity for 18 hours a day, including to hospitals and schools). In any case, nice site.

I keep reading "internationally married" as "intentionally married" and getting very confused.

Me, too, and I was just about to comment on it. Curses. I also keep wanting to finish the sentence somehow: If your internationally married or overseas inclined noun verbs. It could make for an interesting advice thread: If your internationally married or overseas inclined dog bites your leg, what do you do? Or something.

I'm guessing that I wasn't getting anything from the Chinese station because it was the middle of the night there. I'll have to try again later.

Are we violating any copyrights by watching these streams or are they all in the public domain?

Since the links I clicked all took me to the TV stations' home pages, I'm going to say it's probably okay.

In any case, it's almost impossible to find a non-bootlegged piece of media for sale anywhere in Albania, so I'm guessing copyright enforcement isn't on the top of their list of legal priorities. [Smile]

Thanks Speed. [Smile]

If the streams are from the TV stations themselves, I guess they do want people to watch them.

Thank you, lem! This is supremely cool. and will help very much with foreign language studies. This is one happy camper right here, 'cept I can't explore right now because of homework. Thanks again!
