Popcap's newest puzzle game
I'd be swearing at the little things if they weren't so cute! Okay, that's what I thought until I played on speed mode, then I did start swearing.

Caution: very addictive. Limit to 1 hour sample playtime w/o buying game.

Oooo, I likes it!

Final score: Mary 124260!

It has me as the highest score on there. Can that be right?

You're the highest score on your copy. All the other names a pre-loaded, not actual players. That is higher than mine though, so I tip my hat to you.

I'm rather hooked on unlocking trophies. I have 6 so far.

Enigmatic, I hate you.

I stopped a bit short of my hour, because my eyes were starting to cross.

Who knew blowing up tribbles could be so much fun?

I will NOT spend $20 on this time-sucker. I will NOT!!!

*whines* . . . but I wanna finish my game. It let me continue, but I only had two minutes left. [Grumble]

You only get one hour of free play. If you finish your game in that time, then no.

I was apparently pretty good at it, and was still racking up points at the one hour mark (somewhere in excess of 145,000 I think).

I warned you all it was highly addictive and only 1 hour of free play on the sample. I did pay the $20 to officially buy it, but partly because I play so many of the free popcap games I feel like I should support them a bit. Yeah, that's it. It's not at all because I'm addicted.

Trophies: You can see how to get all the trophies by clicking on the Trophy Room and then holding your mouse over the empty trophy spots. Some of the ones I got were for things like not using hints, breaking 3 locks in one move, 7 chuzzles in one group. About half of them I wasn't exactly trying for, I just got from a good move.

And to everyone who's upset with me for showing them this game: MWUA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!

And when will the two of you be in the same place next? Preferably in the same small area -- let's say 10 square feet or so?

have you tried luxor? it's kind of like zuma, but with crazier patterns and the little shooter thing is at the bottom instead of in the middle. If you get it from games.yahoo.com, you have the hour and (as far as I know), 5 minutes of play everytime you launch the game. So if you're addicted, you still get those 5 minutes!

If the three of us williamses sit in consecutive seats at the theater will we pop like little balls of fluff, leaving only eyeballs behind? Oh noes!

I don't like yahoo games. I don't like playing a puzzle for only 5 minutes at a time. I used to do all my puzzling in Puzzle Pirates, which was great. But then there were fallings-out in my crew and there got to be a lot of politics and nonsense so I haven't been a pirate in months.

Is there anyway to avoid locks on classic mode or are they just put there to annoy the heck out of the players?

You mainly get locks when you're doing a bunch of small moves, like only popping 3 instead of larger groups or combos. As levels progress, locks appear more often. So the first few levels you could clear only by doing 3-pops and maybe only get 1 or 2 locks, but around level 10 or so you'll get locks almost every time you do a move that's only 3 or 4 chuzzles.

So to avoid locks: big moves, big combos.

Google "chuzzle" and you will find several other sites that will let you download a one-hour trial. YahooGames among them.

*bleary and cross-eyed* I think that's a good thing . . .

And I now own Chuzzle, which I paid $0 for. Free 30 day trial of RealArcade.

Must remember to cancel that within the month. Probably next week, to be safe.

So... anyone else still playing this? The "collection" aspect of the trophy room roped me in. Now I have all the trophies except the one for popping a million chuzzles and the trophy for having all the other trophies.
My high score is 536,410.

Enigmatic,

"We admitted we were powerless over chuzzles - that our lives had become unmanageable."

The first step is admitting that you have an addiction problem.

It's a hard road, but there are support groups. Good luck.

This is funny... I was going to come bump this thread to report that my daughter (who's 11) has discovered ways to torture chuzzles... only to find that you guys already bumped!!!

i recently lost my trophy room, though, because I did a full system wipe and rebuild. But that also meant that I could knock Heather off the top scores list! heeeheeeeeeheeeee

Not I. I do still play this, but not very often and not for more than 1 or 2 games at a time. Considering how long it took to get the 100,000 I'm probably still a ways from the 1,000,000.
