I can't help it, I like the NBA. I know it's a damaged product, with no defense and extensive one-on-one battles, but I've always watched and I'll continue to watch.

I like the Spurs to repeat. I'll say it up front.

I also think the Hornets will be better than everyone thinks if they can stay healthy.

Kobe scored 62 last night, and didn't play at all in the fourth quarter. That's a pretty good night.

I'm not to impressed with his zero assists, but that was a once in a lifetime game.

And the Hornets are better than everyone thought, although there's a lot of season left.

How about crazy old Artest though?

As I remember, there were four guys on the court wearing the same color jersey throughout the game. As much as Kobe has the ball in his hands, it's criminal for him to have zero assists.

Assists are an easy, albeit imperfect way to tell how much the player is sharing the ball. As far as basketball is a team game, 62 points and 0 assists ought to tell you something.

In my Fantasy Basketball league, one of the teams has Kobe Bryant and no other good scorers. He now has a 60 point lead in points catergory against an average scoring team. If Kobe didn't play that night, he would be losing. Now, he has a monster lead in points.

I seriously think Artest has a chemical imbalance that needs to be treated. The last thing I read is that he's calling players and management to retract what he said.

My father scored 52 points (out of 41 for the whole team) in high school.

Before the 3-point line.

More than half were at the FF line, as he made 28 consecutive FF's. [Big Grin]

He said he didn't remember missing the whole game, and his coach yelled at him after the game...because he was only an average player at best, usually. The coach said "Where the hell was that the first three years you played for us?!?!?!?!?"....

How do you score 52 points if the whole team scores 41?
