My second cousin's mom (I'll just use her last name for now and call her Mom Jenney) is very sick right now. She is in the hospital in Boston currently awaiting a liver transplant. She doesn't drink or anything like that, but all of a sudden in October, she started feeling ill. Now she desperately needs a new liver... she is in such bad condition that they put her name on the top of the donor list! If she doesn't get one soon, well, I don't want to think about that. She may also need a new kidney soon because they will start to fail before much more time goes by (luckily they can do a partial transplant of a kidney and it will grow from there). Her youngest daughter Sue, 17, is a freshman in college and has just moved home from the dorms so that she can stay with her father. They live in Western Massachusetts and it is about a 2 hour drive to the hospital. That is where they will be spending their Christmas holiday. I'm am asking all the wonderful people here at Hatrack to keep Mrs. Barbara Jenney in your thoughts and prayers at this time, since the power of prayer can do amazing things, and after all, this is the season of miracles. I thank each and everyone of you for your help and your thoughts, and I'm sure she and her family would do the same. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays to all.

This is an update to the origional post. I got a call yesterday from my mom. I thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for Mom Jenney, unfortunately, yesterday she lost the fight and went on her final journey over the unknown sea, where the pain and problems she faced here will try her and vex her no more. Thank you again for your support.
