Im trying to find a good home in my area for all my Legos. I dont want to sell them on ebay becuase im worried about shipping all this stuff (there is quite a bit). I have sets from StarWars, Alpha Team, Space, and others. I have some instruction booklets, but not all. If anyone is ever going to be in the Atlanta area and is interested in Legos for themselves or their kids, please let me know. I would like to sell them, but i can guarantee they would all be extremely cheap. if i can get rid of everything all at once, i would rather do that. I will try to get some pictures put up on the internet within the next few days. Please reply if interested.

I am interested if you have an amount (quantity and price).

I am not a fanatic, infact I own NO legos. As a kid I loved them. I have a son who is getting to the age to appreciate legos. I also have a nephew and neice who are around 6.

I LOVE Legos, but have very few of them. My brother got the legos in the family, all I got were the older King Arthur type sets.

What Star Wars sets do you have? Those are the ones I really care about, and how much do you want for them? This is of course contingent on your willingness to ship the legos to Detroit, but I'll pay extra if it's really that much of a hassle.

Legos and Star Wars though.....that's the best combination ever. ::giddy as a small child::

EXO-Force? Why are you selling them? Do I want to associate with you?...

Hehehe. Yeah, I'm a fanatic, but I don't buy a lot. Maybe I will just for you because you're on the forum.

Check out my lego page: http://james.magnusviri.com/lego/

Do you have lots of red bricks? I could use some (I've kinda used all mine up).

Do you have the castle set?

I've been asking for the castle set every christmas since I was very small.

I have two castle sets.

We wrote to Lego asking for a replacement piece for the first one, it was the only piece missing, and they sent a whole new set.

If you're seriously interested I could go out in the garage and try to find them.

K Mac, I'll try to get to that this weekend sometime. There's a photo album I need to find first, but as soon as that is found, I'll venture into the abyss, ahem, I mean my garage to try and find them. It's possible they are all mixed together with other sets, and I don't know if I have the instructions or not. So don't get your hopes up, but I'll look.

I spend nearly all of my free time working on animations and I don't have much to show. I'm hoping to fix that very very soon. I've had some recent inspirations and I think I am going to put off some longer term projects in favor of sort term gratification!

I'm in need of someone to help me with a story too.. [Big Grin] I could use some fresh help, as I'm too *deep* to come up with a good story on my own I think. I'm actually trying to get stuff together so I can state what is and isn't possible to do in the story...

I'm in Salt Lake City. Like Lyrhawn, I wouldn't mind spending extra on shipping. I *suppose* I could let Lyrhawn buy the Star Wars sets... [Wink] But actually, I'm tight no cash right now. I'm always interested in Legos, but if someone else wants them first... :must resist urge to demand ALL ARE MINE: [Wall Bash]

I sense a Star Wars lego bidding war coming on...

Beware, I'm a fanatic!! We do crazy stuff!

James -

If you want help with the story on your lego thing, I'd be happy to attempt to help, you'd just have to tell me what sort of story you are looking for. Give me some parameters to work with and I'll take a swing at it.

ok, here are a few pics of some of them. note that this a huge table with most of my legos on it, and most of the table is star wars. i havent really gotten to take too many pics yet. and the worst part is that i dont think there are any star wars lego pics yet. im charging the batteries again now, and ill try to take some more in the morning. sorry guys, but this isnt my camera, and im not buying new batteries for someone else. more pics to come.

Um, my boys are into leggos big time. We have a huge footstool/storage bin full of 'em (about as deeep/long as a coffin, but narrower).

I'll be at WenchCon, too. Have you decided on price?

hehe. thats funny and understandable. Im hoping to actually not have to ship any of the Legos. So if anyone is in/near atlanta and wants them all, great. there are just under 50 extra minifigs that dont go with the sets shown. there are 2 Red Lego suitcases filled with random bricks, and there about 30+ robots ive made from spare pieces over the past few years. all together im asking $250. i think if anyone locally is interested they would get priority, and if need be, i can hold them all for a few weeks for anyone as long as they assure me they are seriously interested and willing to buy. if need be, i can ship the sets.. but just know that the price would go up a bit to cover the packaging and shipping costs.

Update us on whether or not anyone locally doesn't want them.

If you're forced to ship, I'll still be interested with whatever Star Wars stuff you have.

everytime i see this thread come back to the top of the list i always get hopeful that someone wants the legos...

instead i now know that some of your kids have gotten into trouble and that they have to spend money to fix the situation. hehehe, that actually happened to me a couple times when i was little.

LDD (Lego Digital Designer) is kinda funny. Those "custom" sets are really just bags of pieces that you get to choose from to build a model. If you need more pieces, you have to get another bag, doubling the price for just one extra piece. Not really the right thing for hobbiests who know what they are doing.

Hobbiests who know what they are doing buy their parts from Bricklink.
