Thanks, Anna. I hope the cancer didn't spread to the lymph nodes. They won't know until they get in there. If it did, they'll go ahead and remove the lymph nodes.
That means they're not sure how long the surgery will last. Hopefully, she won't have to stay in the hospital overnight.
I don't know what time tomorrow I'll be able to get back to the computer, but I'll provide an update as soon as possible.

Thanks for all the good wishes. If the lymph nodes are malignant, they're going to go ahead and take care of the problem tomorrow.
Hatrack Hatrack is the coolest. The surgery is scheduled to happen at about 7:00 tomorrow morning.(Tuesday)

My mom is home and they didn't find any trace of cancer in the lymph nodes. They'll probably do radiation just as a precautionary measure, but all seems well.
*hugs* to Hatrack, especially those dealing with cancer.

This is where we need, like, a rejoicing smiley that's a little more subdued than the party one.

I'm so happy, Derrell. I've been preoccupied, but I did read your thread and kept you and your mother in my prayers. What a relief!
