I got this one in an email ... no funny stuff, it's just interesting trivia. I got the October Revolution. Was that in Enchantment or something? They needed to ask some questions I've seen on Bugs Bunny. That's where I get most of my history from.

When these questions were asked at a singles event I went to a month ago, I was the only one in the room who knew where Chinese gooseberries were from (and what they are). Which reinforced the notion that I probably didn't actually want to date any of those people.

I'm going to say rats. 4) In which month do Russians celebrate the October Revolution? November. 5) What is a camel's hair brush made of? Pig bristles. 6) The Canary Islands in the Pacific are named after what animal? A dog. 7) What was King George VI's first name? Robert. 8) What color is a purple finch? Crimson. 9) Where are Chinese gooseberries from? Taiwan. 10) What is the color of the black box in a commercial airplane? Bright orange. Now, to check my answers... I got four right. Yay!

Ouch.. I only got the October revolution and the black box. On the other hand, I've never heard of Panama hats, purple finches, or Chinese gooseberries before.
