One of the worst kept secrets in the business is finally officially confirmed.

Glad that Georgie and Skandar are returning! They were wonderful as Lucy and Edmund.

Yay! They've set a date! [Smile]

Boo! It's two years away! [Frown]

Aren't all the same children returning? I hope so.

Yes, they all are returning.

Two years away because they need to scout out locations, cast a -lot- of brand new roles (other than Aslan and the kids, there's no roles carried over), then need a year to film the darn thing, then the FX work to be done. [Smile]

Hey, if PC is a hit, you -know- they'll do VDT.

By the way, who should be cast as Reepicheep's voice?

He first turns up in this story as a supporting character, before becoming a major one in VDT.

I was hoping they'd do The Magician's Nephew next, but it makes sense that they would do Prince Caspian instead. They might as well do the ones with the children in them first befor the actors get too old.

<soapbox>

The Magician's Nephew needs to be made sixth. Maybe if they do them right someone might publish them right again!

I love VDT, it's my favorite too. I just finished reading it to my kids.

There shouldn't be any more CGI than in the last movie. Other than the badger and the bears, and Aslan of course, there aren't really any talking creatures that I can remember. Most of the main characters in this movie are either human or dwarves.
