I was just informed that we don't have to wear blues on Wednesdays anymore! BDUs all the time! While that may not make sense to you, what it means to me is a more comfortable and predictable life. I feel like I won something!
Maybe this has something to do with our Commander's recently discovered and really low approval rating. If it does it's working! I've never felt warmer towards her than I do today!

I wear what are called "shirt stays" that connect your shirt to your socks, to keep the shirt tucked in. That's supposed to be pretty tight, and combined with pants that aren't supposed to be loose when issued (30 lbs ago) they form the most uncomfortable ensemble since woolen underwear. I hate blues!

Yuck. That sounds horrible. Well, I'm glad that you don't have to wear them anymore. I am jigging in your honor. *jigs*

I totally read that as jiggling in your honor, and thought it quite appropriate for the conversation, if a little odd.

I think tomorrow's going to be interesting because I'm pretty sure no AF people on my shift (supervisor included) know about blues having been done away with. So I'll be the only one legitimately in comfortable green tomorrow! The reactions are going to be priceless.
