This is your chance to brag! What joke did you play and how was it received?
As for me, I switched the salt and sugar- sugar in the salt shakers and salt in the sugar container. My mum's iced tea tasted a bit off and the eggs were a tad on the carmelized side.. What I hadn't been expecting was my sister's baking of chocolate chip cookies.. That didn't go over so well..

I like the make them nervous approach. Go up to someone and say, "Today is April Fools Day. Sometime today, I'm going to play a joke on you that you will look back on twenty years from now and burst into tears at the very thought of it. It will come when you least expect it, where you least expect it." The joke of course, is that you do nothing to that person all day. So far, my cousin has been looking over her shoulder nervously since I got up, trying to figure out what I plan to do to her.

I manage six small storefront offices. I sent them all a new "Expense Minimizing" worksheet. It was designed to monitor microwave oven cooking times and was to be posted by the microwave. It was meant to optimize cooking times and reduce the electrical bills.
Not my idea--stole it from Scott Adams's "The Joy of Work."

I discovered that one printer at work is seriously in need of a new toner cartridge. The page I printed had huge unreadable gaps. So, I printed a new page on another printer and placed it under the bad page for the proofreader. His comment when he saw it: "how the hell am I supposed to read this?"

Oh, aiua, I must say that that joke would not have been well-received in my kitchen AT ALL . . . nope. I mean, my making cookies is a fairly rare event and I do expect a certain tasty return on my investment of time.
I think forever after where you were concerned I would turn into the cookie Nazi: No Cookies For YOU!
That said, hope it was fun!

I didn't pull any pranks. A couple people thought I was when I said the clocks go back an hour, though.

Yesterday was the birthday of one of my friends, so I couldn't bring myself to pull any formal pranks. I did, however, knock on the wall during a scary movie we watched that night, eliciting shrieks of terror from everyone in my room.

You know, it would have been easier just to move to Arizona or Hawaii rather than Sri Lanka to avoid daylight savings.
