I had read last march that there was an update on the Ender's Game movie...I was wondering...are there any new updates.

Also I would love this Topic to become about love of the movie(s?) and/or the books.

I have read the Ender series, and Ender's Shadow...soon I will start reading the rest of the Bean series.

Anybody have some neat ideas or comments about the books?

No updates since March, as far as I know.

I like the Ender series, particularly Ender's Game. Not as big of a fan of the Bean series. I am looking forward to see what OSC does in terms of crossing over the two series, though. I still feel like the Ender series feels unfinished... not to give anything away to anyone.

Are you related to the famed Reverend Fred Phelps?

Welcome Daniel!

If you go to the other side of the forum here you will find lots of discussion about the books and speculation about the movie.

I personally prefer the original series to the Shadow books. Speaker is my favorite.

Acctually no...I am realated to no man (except my father of course)

Also...I too feel like there should be another Ender book, after Children of the Mind. It is a good book but it ends w/o it being truly finished i believe.

***SPOILER: DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO READ OR KEEP THE ENDING SECRET!***

In Children of the Mind Peter meant to go and retake the role of Hegemon(sorry I've never been great at spelling) and do the ansibles get restored and Jane put back to her normal self?

Well actually I was an actor at Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre, and OSC himself did a review on the production and myself, comparing the role I played to the amazing talents of John Goodman, in the role of Pap Fin in Big River.

Hey, DANO! Long time no see! [Wave]

Welcome to Hatrack! It's a great place to hang out online. I've been here since the summer of Snow Camp; here's a link to my very first post.

The forum is divided into two general areas, the "Books, Films, Food and Culture" side and the "Discussions about OSC" side. A lot of newer members, especially those who come here out of an interest in OSC's books (including yours truly,) post on the "other side of the river" to begin with. There's a few threads you might find of interest, and The Man himself occasionally posts things there. See ya around.

Hey Brian

Acctually I've been on Hatrack for a while, I was in the battle school though. The army I belong to though is dying out, so, I came here!

My son, (you remember him?), just got his Liscence (so stay off the roads!). Also now Jerry left Snow Camp, Ed White has taken the Helm. Also ,if you don't mind, I'm gonna give my son your e-mail, we can all talk!
[Group Hug]

I found out about Hatrack while searching for OSC, I had just gotten done reading the Ender series.

I hope I can find other's as fanatical about OSC and Ender and Bean! I also hope ,maybe , OSC will visit the St. Louise area so my son has the chance to meet him!
