The EFTA used to have a high percentage of scandinavian countries, though now its just Norway (and some non-scandinavian countries). Its a trading association for non-EU European states.
I think I know what you're thinking about, too, but I'm not sure it exists as a formal trading association. The scandinavian countries do have some immigration deals that impact the EU, though.

I wonder if I can just say the EU, but then be like, "Except the EU is way too big to be addressed as one market, so let's focus on Scandinavia, kiddies!"

Fine. Scandinavia is now a trade region. I don't care if it actually is or not. It is because I say it is, and I haven't gotten much sleep, so my word is law.
