Come on, I know there are other people here who've been losing a lot of sleep and coming up with ridiculous notions while writing many papers or trying to memorize entire 500-page textbooks.

I've decided to finish painting my cabinets with brushes no wider than 1/2".

What've you come up with?

I played a roughly 24 hour game of Star Fleet Battles once during finals week (5-way battle, 5,000 bpv fleet each, I was Orions against Lyran, Kzinti, Feds, and Tholians) followed immediately by a final, then I went to sleep. We should have gotten Mountain Dew to sponsor it.

Enjoy the paint fumes [Smile]

I have so much to do in the next two weeks. My only consolation is that after that I go home and get to sleep for a week without stopping. I keep telling myself: "Just go one more night, and then you can sleep." It doesn't really work, but I like to pretend that it does.

Plus, I'm really good at procrastinating. It's my specialty.

I'm knitting socks, and writing two papers that want to kill me and memorizing two chapters of a text book.

I broke a wine glass last night. And by "last night," I mean at 6:30am. Today, I am incapable of walking in a straight line. I know I thought of something brilliant last night before I fell asleep for three hours and drooled all over my pillow, but I can't remember what it was. And there wasn't even any alcohol involved.

I really want to know why my mouth keeps smelling like gum when I wake up. By "smelling," I mean tasting and feeling.

I though it was an ulcer, for a while.

Then, while playing Oblivion, I came down with a nasty case of being a vampire. But that's still more fun than doing homework, studying for finals or writing my resume.

*smacks KoM*

I don't actually have it that bad. An exam in Chemistry friday which counts for two test grades, and then a cumulative final exam in Chemistry next wednesday and a final exam in Psychology of Adjustment also on Wednesday. So I should be alright. Though the fact that I've been having splitting headaches every time I start reading or am exposed to bright lights has diminished my studying capabilities ...

I have to:

-finish a 3d graphics engine (Already put in over 36 hours in this, 15 of them in one, long no sleep night. It's still not finished.)

-start and finish a ray tracer

-write a simulated microprocessor's machine code and circuit connections

-write 2 (maybe three papers) for english, plus study for several tests

-create and give a presentation on a scientific mission to another planet

-do about 20 or 30 physics problems on AC circuits and make sure I know it

...all of this in the next week or so.

And that's not even thinking about finals.

I win.

I have two papers due in the next week, not to mention a portfolio and two revisions of horrible papers. I have three exams in theater, french, and psych. I have to present a scene for theater, plus do all the written work that goes along with that. (It amounts to about 10 pages of character and scene analysis.)

Good times. Someone please kill me now!

I turn in my last papers tomorrow. I had all papers and projects this semester. I had to:
Create a management and marketing plan for a start-up artist management company.
Analyze the global beauty market and write up a long-winded, boring conclusion as to how to introduce a product into a new region.
Write a case study about the ethical ramifications of manufacturing silicone breast implants.
Write a long paper about medieval law.
Write an internship academic report.
Spruce up my resume.
Write a personal career plan.

*falls over*

I've decided to burn my entire CD collection onto my computer.

Yeah, I probably have about 150 CDs in my dorm room. Ha.

And my finals week isn't for ALMOST THREE WEEKS!

Edit: Correction -- it's not for two weeks, my finals week is the third week from now. But STILL!
