I'm prone to it. something about funny-shaped sinuses that lead to a lot of clogged and infected sinuses, and the eustachian tubes being therefore more prone to getting clogged. (I almost said "prone to clogging", but I know what Tante will do with that.) Runs in the family; thanks, dad.
Luckily I caught it this time before it got infected (I've had an average of two ear infections a year since I was 14, more before that), but it was to the point where the eardrums got irritated enough to require medication (that's why I am whining.)
Anyway. Earache= teh suck. Double earache= teh double suck.
Feel free to mock me for getting an earache and whining. But be advised that I will have to smite you.

Ouch. Congested eustachian tubes hurt. A lot. I won't mock you for whining. Especially since the powers that be have decided to afflict me with hives, for no good reason that I can discern. I've been whining a lot about that.

No mocking here - earaches are definitely painful, we hate them precious, we hates them forever!
My oldest daughter used to get them all the time, bless her heart, and I still can close my eyes and remember her screaming at pain at 2:00 am and me feeling powerless to help her. Posts: 14428 | Registered: Aug 2001
