Those to lazy or rude to work for either must be the prime source of the employment pool for Insurance Companies.

A month ago, before the mandatory deadline, I filled in reams of paper to get on my companies insurance plan. I was supposed to start 6/1. My insurance card never arrived.

Luckilly the HR dept at work looked into it.

It seems they had somehow delayed putting me into the system.

I didn't get in there until 6/7/6.

No wonder I don't have a card yet.

That should take about 2 weeks.

Officially I'm now insured and can get sick all I want (this after Strepp Throat the last week of May), but somehow, until that little peice of plastic actually gets to me, I think I won't trust them.

The last time they got my name wrong so no one would take the card until they fixed it. The time before that I paid for my insurance for 3 months before discovering they had accidently cut me off the list of those covered. They refused to refund my payments or pay for the medicine I bought at full price. The $50 for the medicine was not worth the legal hassle.

And I don't want to get into the mess they made of my parents health care. Thank goodness the VA was there for my father.

And if you knew how bad the VA could be, you'd know how bad an insult that really is.

My agreement is that the insurance I pay still does not cover birth control. I have to pay full price, and I'm floored that it's so expensive.

I'll be off it soon and on to something else on Monday, though. I hope that's better.
