I'm off to Japan tomorrow morning. I may or may not have access to the internet and time to browse to Hatrack while I'm there. So I'm saying my goodbye late tonight. I hope everyone here has a great summer.

Have a good time! Even if you're got internet access, don't waste your time there hanging out here. Tell us all about it when you get back though.

Have an great time! And yes, try the natto, and also wasabi ice cream and whatever other strange foods you encounter - I'm curious.

I'm posting here before I go to bed now. I'm officially in Tokyo now. I've been here since Monday. Before that I was in Chiba, then Mobara, then Nikko. Now I'm in Tokyo (more specifically at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center (NYC) next to Yoyogi Park, Yoyogi being near Harajuku and Shibuya).
For those who asked, I've yet to encounter natto or wasabi ice cream. I have encounter various kinds of fish, miso soups, teas, pickled vegetables, and other such things. I've disliked most of them. I have found a Japanese junk food that I really like: March of the Koalas (they're these little cookie/biscuit things with a chocolate chip inside, and on the outside they have a picture of a koala either dressed up or doing something or doing something while dressed up). Koalas are delicious. I've also found that I like most Japanese bread (from the bakery and what not). It's usually pretty good, even if it is just an attempt an a foreign bread (like French bread or crepes or whatever).
I don't have the time (or the ability to stay awake long enough) to post a long drawn out description of what all I've done while in Japan. I did post some pictures up though. You can find them here. Enjoy.
