"Marriage is a sacrement. Family is a holy institution. There has to be consequences."

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, A&E?

I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with cryptic television commercials. Like on vh1, until the beginning of this week, they would interrupt commercials or shows with just a screen with a neon green handprint on it. Finally this week, they start showing real commercials, and it's some kind of celebrity ghosthunt.

[Mad] Just tell me what it is that you want me to watch! Maybe then I'll actually consider watching it!

True fact: when God created cable TV, he decided to give A&E dominion over the Apocalypse & Entertainment. They're just giving us a warning it seems.

I kid you not, I was watching a commercial for the "History of Ink" special on the History Channel, and it said ink was used to:

"Draft our Freedom"

I had to sit there and turn the words over in my mind. Could, I thought to myself, a tv copywriter be SO poorly educated? Are they really so desperate as to hire someone who thinks that "ink drafted our freedom?" I mean I got what he was saying, but really? And the announcer guy read it like it meant something. Very wierd.
