Helena Bonham Carter to play Bellatrix Lestrange

I think she's going to make a very good "bad" character.

Wow. Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, and Helena Bonham Carter all in the same movie series.

I can't like her. She broke up the one and only celebrity couple I ever cared about. [Frown]

She looks alot like the Bellatrix I imagined, I am pleased with the casting decision.

I didnt know he was married to Emma Thompson or that Mrs. Carter broke them up.

Besides, all of my casting outrage is currently directed at the people making the next Batman movie, I don't have any left over for Harry Potter.

...it hasn't ever been confirmed that she broke them up. I know the sex in Frankenstein was almost too real to be...not real, but there were rumors about Emma as well.

I've researched this, as them not being married any more really pissed me off too. [Smile]

I like the casting, but I really think the gal they had before (can't remember her name) looked more like Jo's description of Bella. I wonder why they had to recast?
