Some of you may recall a series of Tornadoes that struck Middle TN on April the 7th earlier this year. The two towns most heavily affected were the ones on both sides of my own city, and the one most damaged is the town where I go to church.
One lady in my own town was hiding with her two small children in her home during the tornadoes. She decided to wrap her body over her two children to protect them and soon afterwards a beam fell from her roof and onto her back paralyzing her, but she saved her children's lives.
ABC Extreme Home Makeover is helping this family rebuild their home, all of which remained was the basement.
