^^ This is a paper done by my former Political Science teacher. He is a political activist from Iran who was forced to flee the country when the fundamentalist regime took power (he had supported a more democractic regime with an emphasis on feminine equality). He now lives in the US as he is unable to safely travel in Europe, much less go back to Iran. He is a really smart man and his experiences in Iran make alot of his points and thought processes VERY interesting to read. As with all writers understand that he has a very pro democracy stance in regards to Iran, and he is very much in favor of the neo conservative administration in the US as they have shown themselves to be very much willing to take strong action against other countries, including Iran.

If this particular piece of writing does not grab you as much (it isnt my favorite) you may find some of his other writings to be more to your liking. I loved taking his classes and I was really sad to see him go.
