Hi my name is Chris Sale I am a big fan of Orson Scott Card and have read all the books in both the Enders game series and 7th son and I was just wondering are both these series confirmed too be over now? I was satisfied with the ending of the Ender's Game series although I'd love more too read, but the 7th son series just left me wanting more the last book just ended with me wanting to know what happened too everyone now. Im sure there have been many posts about this or a few atleast but I didn't see a search option for these forums so I figured I might as well say hello too everyone and ask anyway

Hi, Hands! I believe both series have more books on the way. I'm sure you'll be glad to hear it. We call the 7th son series the Alvin Maker series. The last one out so far was called the Crystal City. There should be one more in that series. (I'm sure someone here will correct me if I get this wrong.) Also, I believe there is one more book planned which will connect the Ender series with the Shadow series. Others here know a lot more, so I'm sure you'll get more complete and correct replies, later. But I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the forum, and tell you what I know. [Wave]

Welcome to Hatrack, Chris! I've lost track of exactly what's going on with the Ender/Shadow series, but I know that Tatiana is right when she says that there'll be a bridge book that will draw the two series together and cap them. She's definitely right about the Alvin Maker series.

By the way, you may not be aware that there are also a number of short stories that have been written in both universes. In the Alvin series they do a good job of filling in some of the missing parts inbetween the most recent book and the one before it, and in the Ender series they provide additional background information. I'll leave it to a more dedicated fan to tell you the stories' titles and the places where you can find copies of them.

psst... the search button is located right under the "New Topic" button towards the upper right side of the page.

Welcome! Yup, at least two more in the Ender series, maybe three. And OSC guaranteed there would only be one more in the Alvin series, even if it is 700 pages. There is a plethora of information (and pinatas?) around here somewhere, and I'm sure you can have hours of fun searching for it.
