I took my 13-year-old daughter shopping today (well, actually Tuesday, in case this posts after midnight). We found these shoes at Target, as well as socks with skulls and crossbones. I also found a T-shirt at Wal-Mart - it's brown, with skull and crossbones and the following: "Pirates be ye warned" and "a curse upon those who dare trespass". So, she's going pirate for her first day of school.
I'm definitely going to have to show her the puppet show - it might even be the thing that lures her out of bed in the morning!
