So, at 6 AM, three alarms go off in my house. Mine, my brother's and my dad's. I got up and walked to the bathroom to find the toliet clogged, so I go get the plunger. The plunger doesn't work. It folds up on itself, and as I'm trying to fix it, it suddenly unfolds and sprays water everywhere. Now, the toliet had been in use when it was clogged, so I got that all over my legs. Then, as I'm thinking of a nice warm shower, my mom wakes up, and begins to give me a plunging lesson. I'm half awake on the floor mopping it up now. I toss the towels in a laundry basket, and head to my room to get my stuff. Then it starts raining. My mom calls me back to the bathroom, and tells me to pick up everything on the floor and move it to another room, so I do. Then, I hear a dripping noise. So I check all the faucets adn showers in my house, and I can't find where the noise is coming from. I walk into the front room, and the windows are leaking. My brother hurries downstairs to get towels and I go get my mom again. She has us lay pretty much every towel in the house down, then we have to wipe it all up. When that's done, I'm ready to collapse, when I remember the downstairs window leaks. I run downstairs, and lay towels down to stop it. Its really heavy rain, so everything is soaked. Including a VCR. My brother discovers a leak in his room, and we stop that up too. I collapse on the couch, and my brother runs to catch his school bus in the pouring rain. Shortly afterword, the rain stops. I walk back into my room and see my trumpet case on the ground, and I remember I have a concert today. My sister is supposed to give one of my friends a ride, but I don't know if she'll be up. I have to leave for my concert in fifteen minutes, which means waking up my mom again, and making sure she stays awake. Not to mention we have a hard song to play, and we're expected to end within a half hour. If I don't forget my trumpet.
So, how was your morning?

The baby threw up, the toddler is cranky, and my appointment is earlier than usual because my mom has a dentist appointment this afternoon. Not to mention we're all sick.
But yours sounds worse, Jeesh. Poor kid. I hope it gets better! (((hugs)))

I sent out more resumes, had a meeting with my professor, had a coffee, ran into some friends in a parking lot, and did some housing research. Productive and alright.

I typed up a nice post and was ready to post it, when my computer decided to hit the button that makes you go to the last page, then it did it again!
I've got to rant about this somewhere, so I'll just make a list.
1. Sister's car was soaking wet 2. Arrived when everyone was leaving to preform 3. Annoying stand partner made a miraculos (sp?) recovery from nimonia 4. Completly screwed up in the middle of several songs 5. Family arrived late to the concert 6. Best friend was supposed to get a ride from my sister, but her dad dropped her off 7. Was dubb 'The biggest idiot in band' 8. Ran into the timapani 9. Almost got lost in the school 10. Almost tripped over the janitor's tools 11. Got loaded with my sister's chores 12. Neighbors sprayed me with a hose 13. Can't find the list of family phone numbers 14. Soccer Practice was canceled 15. Computer is being stupid
I really hate these days.

I got up at 0500, showered, brushed my teeth, drove to work, had to forgo cool stuff that I got tasked with to do mundane stuff so the more skilled could get tasked with other stuff, and then took out the trash. I am now home, and it's not so morning any more. Looking forward to class next month. I can't believe I'm looking forward to class next month.

Well, my morning wasn't great, but it was largely my own fault for staying up until two in the morning playing board games with friends. It's not something we get to do very often, though, so I can't entirely blame myself for it. And two of the participants are moving out of state, so we couldn't really decline.
My morning was mostly spent eating leftover spaghetti and watching Winnie the Pooh with my daughter, her new obsession.
I'm never going to kick caffeine again at this rate.
Sorry you had a lousy morning, Jeesh.
