Drums, the bass and electric guitars are great and all, but sometimes you're in the mood for just an acoustic guitar and a good voice to go with it.
So what are some of your favorite acoustic songs to listen to?
These can be songs that are meant to be acoustic, or special acoustic versions of a usually non-acoustic song.

I almost always perfer the acoustic verson if there is one. These might not all be purely acoustic, but they are pretty close.
"Melissa" Almond Bros. "Talks to Angels" Black Crows "Mystery of Love" David Gray--Many of his songs before his "White Ladder" album were acoustic "Fire & Rain" James Talyor "The Man who sold the world" Nirvana Unplugged "Breaking the Girl" Red Hot Chile Peppers "Lucky" Seven Mary Three "Roses from my Friends" Ben Harper--does a lot of his stuff unplugged on various live albums. Its all good "Rodeo Clowns" Jack Johnson (the unplugged verson)
I also enjoy several folk artist who are always better live/unplugged.

Beatles - Here There and Everywhere It has light drums, but it's mostly guitar and singing. Probably my favorite Beatles' song.
Dispatch - Out loud Great acoustic song.
Arik Einstein - Beit Ha'arava Probably no one here knows this song, or even the singer. It's Israeli music.

I like Tuki Yossi better. I have the Arik Einstein greatest hits DVD, and there isn't a bad song on it. My favorite is actually Itonai Katan Sheli, but that's not acoustic.
Oh, and Eizo Min Shalva, from the soundtrack of HaLehaka.

My favorite Israeli musicians are Aviv Geffen and Shlomo Artzi. I lke some of Arik Einstein's stuff, like Beit Ha'arava, but I really dislike his cover of Aviv Geffen's Livkot L'cha. I've heard a few songs from David Broza and Gidi Gov and I liked those.

Eagles - Hotel California from the Hell Freezes Over album/tour. That intro is just amazing. Seven Bridges Road is also excellent.
Layla - I loved it at first, but now it's become too overplayed. I almost never hear the original unless I've got my Clapton mix running on my MP3.
Find the Cost of Freedom - Crosby Stills and Nash. Heck, most CSN and some CSNY is on my list. Wish I could have afforded to go to the concert over the weekend... although that venue really sucks, and especially for acoustic work.
Seconding Melissa (heck, that's where I got my daughter's name!).
