And yes, that was an Eclipse-Class Star Destroyer in that clip. Check over at Gamespot for some cool images.
Supreme Commander
For those interested, the main page for Supreme Commander is updated every Friday with new material. This month is Cybran Month, meaning you'll be learning a lot more about those cyborg walker units for the next few weeks.
And for those who were complaining about the lack of reality in this particular RTS, it is a game. Even though it's a simulation.
But to make up for that, they've made it a full-fledged simulation. Huge maps, real Newtonian physics--you actually can miss!--and actual gameplay, not a flashy version of rock-paper-scissors.
Here's the E3 presentation. Explains much more than the trailer--or the official website, for that matter. (Warning: poor video due to a non-fixed camera position. Someone apparently shot this video with a handheld.)
And for those complaints regarding range of fire, check out that clip. There is long-range artillery in this game.

I was REALLY disappointed with SW: Empire at War. It was buggy on both my computers, gave me all kinds of trouble just getting it installed and running, and then the actual game play was pretty weak. Very limited strategy, simplistic units, boring maps.
Overall, just not that good. I would give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Certainly not worth $50+, and there's no way I'll buy an expansion.
