I had to read it last summer for a course I was taking, and I think I can say that it's one of the best books I've read in a while.

I really, really hope he has more books coming out.

Heard this book was bomb. It's up there on my list. Is it good to the point where you recommend I send it straight to the top of the list?

I was disappointed with this book, possibly because of the build-up surrounding it.

Thanks. But now the debate begins...should I read the book before I see the movie? Or see the movie and then read the book so I can enjoy both?

I had been wanting to read this book for some time.

Then it got assigned to me in one of my classes. And now I don't want to anymore. [Frown]

Strange, because normally I don't mind reading works that are assigned, I'm an English major after all. I suppose it's because I had Kite Runner in my head as a "read for fun" book and now it's been relegated to a "read because you have to" book.

At any rate, I hope I can still enjoy it even though I'm being forced to read it.
