this will blow you away!

The Honda ad for anyone that missed it.

This is just amazing.

Puts the instant breakfast Back to the Future scene to shame.

Wow, that must have taken a long time to setup, and I wonder how many cameramen they had to film that?

That was pretty cool, although the video quality is rather poor.

If you want to see ALOT of that

go to http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9133671200734505806&q=Amazing+Machines&hl=en

I hope you have alot of time, and I would highly reccomend turning off the sound, if you don't you WILL hear the music they use as well as the catchy tune at the end ALL day long.

Edit: The action is ALOT easier to follow, and its a bit on the cute side, rather then the practical "cooking your dinner" and "selecting your clothes" kind of rube goldberg action.

I thought the cell phone was a really nice touch. The music didn't fit too well, though. Other than that, it was a really good setup.

If you wanna see more of that type of stuff, just look up "Rube Goldberg" in google.

Since i just watched all three Back to the Futures about a month ago, I can attest with some certainty that there is no "instant breakfast" scene.

Are you thinking of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure? Or even Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? (probably pee-wee)

i don't remember specifically, but what happens in that first scene in back to the future where the alarm goes off and a domino effect of stuff begins to happen. I thought the end result was breakfast, i could be wrong.

I assumed that's why the video had the back to the future music playing in the background. as an homage to that scene.

Strider is right, it is in the beginning of the first movie. Just before Marty walks in.

Bizarre.

Possibly the scene was so emotional for me that i completely blocked it from my memory.

[Smile]

The pee-wee herman breakfast scene is still my favorite. [Wink]

The Back to the Future setup simply results in a can of dogfood being dumped into Einstein's bowl, which is already full of several other meals, showing that neither the dog nor its owner has been home for several days.

was there also some burnt toast? i'm remembering burnt toast now...

edit: yep, just re-watched it. first there's burnt toast, then the dog food can. And that's it.

I stand by my statement...there's no "instant breakfast" scene in back to the future. [Smile]

Hey, isn't that the movie w/ the line "It doesn't do anything. That's the beauty of it"?
